It’s not the worst result against our bogey team. Really solid start to the season overall with plenty of improvement to come.

It’s going to be a great season.

A good point for plucky little Man Utd who came to frustrate the Villa and hope for something on the break.

Rogers needs to learn when to pass i.e. before he tries to beat the 4th, 5th and 6th defenders.

Roger’s has this habit of trying to take an extra man on this season and it means he is not as good as the opposition are working him out.
I thought Rogers was really poor, his decision making and final ball isn't where it needs to be

I don't usually like international breaks but this one feels bang on cue. Hopefully our involvement will be minimal and we can do a reset. Bit of warm weather training may be in order

Well said…and we have beaten Bayern Munich already.

Pretty poor fare. I think Emery got it wrong today, a high tempo would have destroyed them, far too pedestrian. Cash looked ropey, Bailey is nowhere near fit, Carlos did well again and the set plays were utter wank. A point gained as we were that poor. Hopefully some of the lads can start to come back to fitness and by the end of the month, we may start to see a first 11....

We were really poor. Our usual match winners were the worst of the lot. I suppose how disappointing a lot of us are with a draw against that lot, shows just how far we’ve come.

They set up for a draw and we struggled to create anything. We desperately need some of the injured players back.

Need to get Bailey back on track somehow and clear up injuries.

Very poor game but it’s a sign how far we’ve as we would certainly have lost that game in previous seasons. Lots of below par performances but some good ones, Barkley, Jade and Carlos. I think it’s not an injury with Bailey but total lack of confidence.

Would have taken four points at the start of the week. Be nice if we could have just one referee who wasn't a fucking coward when it came to sending off opponents.

We DID lose that game last season.

Just an awful game of football which is what these fuckers wanted.
It feels flat now but given the prospect of a last minute for them, not altogether terrible.

Well done to Rat Face who reffed the game really well and to their arrogant and objectionable supporters for strutting  'round Town as if they are not some sort of shit Brentford tribute side.

How the mighty Manure have fallen.  Punching the air at a block against little old Aston Villa.

It might have prevented them having any attacking threat, but they didn't look like scoring anyway, and given how poor we were going forward, I'm not sure us having an extra man would have made a huge difference anyway.  There are some games where it feels like having a man extra would be a big advantage - I'm not sure this was one of them.
