I’ll take that.

Seen much worse outcomes from this fixture on an almost endless basis for years now.

Exactly.

Complete non event of a game.

Probably not hugely surprising given the effort on Wednesday.

Man. United just looking like a plucky relegation struggler in their mentality was an amusing watch.

If we want to start beating them regularly we need to show far more ambition in our general play and also get our difference makers off the bench early. We were far too negative today for an hour. Look at what Spurs did to them last week. Maybe we don't quite have the personnel to do that but it's a bit of a headscratcher to me how few minutes Maatsen is generally getting, five minutes to make an impact nowhere near enough.

Still 14 points from first 7 and two CL wins is a very good start to the season so can't complain too much. More to come with the injured players back soon.

A distinct lack of nous in the last third. Can the real Ollie come to the table.

Well, that was a dirge.  Champions League hangover? Who knows, but 5/10 performances all over the pitch, and barring that chance for Philogene at the end we didn't look like ourselves going forward at all.

All that said, we played as badly as we have in quite a while, against Manchester United, and we STILL didn't lose, while also keeping a clean sheet. That's a sign of progress I guess?

I'm going to chalk this up to a bad day at the office and move on.

Should have run at the ageing defence more in the first half.

Final ball terrible all game.

But a clean sheet.

A good point for plucky little Man Utd who came to frustrate the Villa and hope for something on the break.

Rogers needs to learn when to pass i.e. before he tries to beat the 4th, 5th and 6th defenders.

We put a lot of mental energy into Wednesday and it showed today. If you can't win, then don't lose.

Too many injuries and lost all our fluency, it felt like a league cup game. Pretty poor

Probably a good time for an international break for us.

Squad being tested at the moment.  3 of our starting midfielders all out injured, Bailey not fit and now Konsa injured.  Let’s hope Ty and Booby come through todays game successfully

I blame the ref as he bottled the sending off

Was our absolutely horrendous quality in the final third today also the referees fault?

Even if Rashford had been sent off there was zero chance we were scoring a goal today.
