Tielemans, Digne, Ollie all excellent. Bogarde did very well as did Barkley. After that I think everyone else has another level to go up. Rogers was frustrating because he nearly had a great game but the last bit just didn't happen for him.
Quote from: Risso on September 14, 2024, 09:14:17 PMDCL is a decent player really. When they missed out on Duran, West Ham would have been much better going for Calvert Lewin than that German bloke they brought in.Problem is Calvert Lewin never seems to strng more than 5 or 6 games together without getting injured fir 4 or 5.

Assuming they stay injury free they'll both start plenty of games.
The result is all important but we are not quite clicking yet. Torres was very poor today with the ball and defensively. Tielemans man of the match for me. We missed Bailey as neither Ramsey of SJM are going to get past there markers out wide. This is a new team and I am sure UE will get it worked out, 3 points and move on.

On the ball he did very little wrong. We didn't have the movement we normally do I thought, partly because McGinn was on the wing and partly because, for at least a long part of the first half, Rogers and Ramsey were too central and not stretching Everton.
Name a better struck shot than Duran’s goal. Don’t say Savo, Jhon’s is better.
