Yes, they mixed the ball thoroughly after every ball was drawn.

Mad, how they just missed that number one, then. Very weird. Wish I'd watched it, now.

You don't deserve me:

You're too kind. I thought I was going to have to wait for the eight part investigative mini-series on Netflix.

Definitely sounds like they messed up, how else would they mix up the No. 6 and No. 1 balls?

There's only ONE left says Redknapp.
Reference to ball number one!

Villa were the last tie to be drawn for some reason.
Pressumably because they were one of the last 2 balls?
Well, it's clear the Villa ball wasn't touched till the end because it's number 1!  it's first in but then second to last out!
So in between the drawmasters Redknapp and Nolan haven't touched the bottom of the bowl and left Villa till last.

It's a poor shuffle, and the system can be manipulated when there isn't the correct shuffle. Hustlers do this in cards.

I don't think any shenanigans went on other than a very poor shuffle system which didn't include the number one ball being touched till the final draw.

Sounds quite feasible, to be fair. I wasn't watching, did it look like they'd bothered mixing them up at all?
I think gravity means the last balsl out are in the middle

And it's impossible that's coincidence? Are you OK?

It will hopefully be on an episode of Unsolved Mysteries soon.

If you watch the draw backwards you can follow the number 1 ball around the  bowl.....'a bit like you would the goldfish at your nans when you were a nipper'

You know, like the famous event in history, where the apple hit Newton on the head, and he cried - "Number 1, Villa will play..." before a bird shat on him, and he said "Man Utd".

The whole thing stinks. Look at the evidence.

Ball 1 goes in first, strong suspicions that it never properly moves and comes out last. What are the chances ?
Arsenal are allocated ball 14 ?
AFC Wimbledon are allocated ball 16 ?
Why were the ball numbers allocated during the afternoon ? This could easily have been done at the conclusion of tonights ties prior to the draw at 10.20.
We all drink milk and Coca Cola, has anybody ever drank Carabao ? What exactly is it ?

In 1996, Louise Nurding, later to be known as Louise Redknapp - wife of Jamie Redknapp who did tonight's draw, had a song called "One Kiss From Heaven". Villa were ball number one.

Coincidence?

Start believing in coincidences; it's a slippery slope. Have to be on guard because when things are too coincidental to me, it makes me wonder.I won't go on about this because I don't want to annoy the board, but it is a fact that number 1 didn't come out till last tie. Just something I observe don't see coincidence.

We all have our theories though.  Paul e said on the standard of refereeing thread that Stuart Atwell was dishonest on who he supports so he could officiate Villa matches.
I don't agree, and that's ok if people don't agree on coincidence or not in my case here as it's fact when the ball came out

We were the first winners in Nineteen Sixty ONE.
Our first Wembley final was in Nineteen Seventy ONE.

Doubtful, that was the fifth single from her debut album and we drew Crystal Palace who were ball number five.

Can't complain, home to a team we should be beating if we put a good side out (and we have a gap of three days either side with it being on the Wednesday).

Also Spurs/Man. City and probably Newcastle/Chelsea means two decent teams will be going out, Brighton/Liverpool also an interesting one.

Ticket prices are also what they should be and I assume if we make the SF the home fixture will be cheaper than Leicester in Jan 2020?

I think its a bit more of a slippery slope when you stop believing in maths and the laws of probabilty.

Besides we all know the its the FA Cup thats fixed.
