As has been previously mentioned their Manager seems to have the measure of Emery so everything points to defeat. I have thought that from the minute the fixtures were released and will also agree that we may have a poor start all things considered.
However, one if the hallmarks of Emery's reign is the ability to make us all look rather foolish with our predictions...so.

0-1

Is the right answer

Apparently West Ham haven’t had a particularly good pre-season results wise either…

July 15: Ferencvaros 2-2 West Ham
July 20: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 West Ham
July 28: Wolves 3-1 West Ham
August 4: Crystal Palace 3-1 West Ham
August 10: West Ham 2-2 Celta Vigo (West Ham win 6-5 on pens)

They’ve only won one pre-season match in normal time. Against Dagenham and Redbridge. I still went for a loss though.

So they've not had a good pre season and they haven't signed anything particularly impressive.

If we're definitely going to lose our first game of the season, we may as well do it at a ground where we've a poor record.

After yesterday I wouldn’t fancy Onana and Tielemans in central midfield. We seemed to be struggling keeping possession.
With the alternative being Barkley i'd stick with the Belgians

We were much better second half! Early days but struggling to see Onana’s attributes other than a good engine!

Look forward to Unai showing me!
He's been the standout player pre-season

Either, we will hit the ground running and the amount of changes coming into the club will prove to be bang on, in which case we will steam roller over Hammers, or we still haven't replaced Luiz, new players will take time to bed in and we get caught out.

I'm going for 2-0 West Ham,

After 4 or 5 pre season games, its pretty early to be wondering what Onana is bringing to the table for us.

We had a poor result v Newcastle in our first game last time. We were all down, pissed off and fearing the worst. Then Sir Lord Ferg’ had what we would now describe as a Biden moment. I haven’t a clue how we will fare, it could be anything so I’ll go with a 2-1 win to us.
