Hope these injuries don’t continue to blight his career. Just as he starts to look a real player he gets crocked.Very frustrating for all concerned, especially him I’d imagine.

I don't remember Patrick Viera missing swathes of games.

Where's Barrenechea when you need him?!
He’ll be missed but Bogarde can come in and hopefully Barkley isn’t that far away. All depends on what other injuries we pick up. We could do with Garcia getting up to speed as well.

Although it’s been “two weeks” every week since he first got injured so god knows

Too busy and excited with the Villa to pay much attention though my daughters went without me to see Sporting win 4-0 the other day. No idea why I thought Benfica were top, probably as it's been so long since (spit) Porto were and I know Sporting are second. Barrenechea has been a big success though at his loan club and they'll be more than happy to sign him in the summer. He currently has his left arm in a sling after a training ground accident today.

Shame really, I reckon we could have squeezed a few more million out of them plus there would be plenty of interest from Spain and Italy.
