Was he like this at Everton or are we just having serious misfortune with him?

He played 33 and 30 league games in his 2 seasons at Everton. 26 and 14 (so far) with us.

That's not a good trend.

Also, if this is the injury he went down with mid-way through the first half, why was he allowed to continue?

He had a couple of niggles there but nothing to serve as a warning. They're mostly hamstring related (and that looked to be the problem again) so there's clearly some underlying problem that we need to work out.

Sounds medium-term at least. Not great at all.

Probably the same as with Fernandes against us. It is troubling but playable on and a proper assessment can be determined at halftime.

Unai Emery says Pau Torres and Tyrone Mings are due back within the next fortnight, but Amadou Onana faces a longer spell on the sidelines.
What’s “longer”? A week, a month, couple of months?

Don't need him, we've got Bogarde and Hemmings.

He’ll be missed but Bogarde can come in and hopefully Barkley isn’t that far away. All depends on what other injuries we pick up. We could do with Garcia getting up to speed as well.

Hope these injuries don’t continue to blight his career. Just as he starts to look a real player he gets crocked.

Very frustrating for all concerned, especially him I’d imagine.
