That English kit does look very smart. Both it and 'home' kit are much nicer than the men's kits.

Don't love the home one, but yeah, this one is smart.

Really poor defending down our left for the goal, took out 3-4 players with 1 turn and 2 passes.

The difference between this England team and where we were a couple of years ago is that we leave too many chances out there and have a bit of a softer belly than we did.

I agree. Somebody said on the Sweden thread the other night that has been a constant for England going back a few years, to the extent that Rachel Daly, a very good forward, played at left back in the 2022 win.

I think the Italians will now give a show of advanced shithousery in the second half.

Another bad miss from Hemp this time, we've been really poor going in attack for most of this tournament.

Glaringly obvious where the problem is, we just cant finish. Had most of the ball and theyve created one good chance and scored. Englands record in tournament football v the Italians is lamentable.

Lauren Hemp is playing like she’s stoned. Useless.

Get Chloe Kelly on.

Why did the lino delay putting the flag up there? The ball was about 2ft over the line.

All these chances being spurned its just a matter of time before they make us pay for it.

The biggest problem is that our shape has made it easy for them to take Russo out of the game, we really need to get Agyemang on with her to create some chaos. I have no idea why we've left it so long, I'd have put her on instead of Mead at half time.

I've tried really, really hard to enjoy this tournament but it has just reinforced my feeling that I couldn't care less about the outcome and, despite the hype, the women's game still has a lot of catching up to do.
