Legitimate question because I can't remember, but did we get the same "genuine contenders" coverage in the media this time last year as Forest have been getting? We had opportunities to go top around Christmas/NY but I don't remember us being talked about in the same way? Was it because Arsenal/ManCity were having better seasons than they are this year? Or am I just misremembering it?

We blew it under pressure v Sheffield Utd (H) , after that we weren't in the running . That was our chance to be top at Xmas

Pretty sure the BBC did a similar article asking if were genuine contenders.  I even think it was written ahead of a game versus a Big 6 club, like Forest, for maximum clicks.
