Burton Albion played Tamworth in the final in the 90s. Two Staffordshire towns where all football comes under Birmingham County FA yet Lichfield is Staffs FA.

It was between their two FA Cup games with Manchester United so there was a fair old national press turn-out. Burton didn't take the game seriously and I think they lost 5-0, with a hat-trick from a player who in true non-league style had to go off early because he was due on the night shift. His name was Bellingham and his lads play football now.
