In the meantime, they've have to make do with 5.5m views on the AVFC and Sabbath accounts on X.Did you know on views they count every time some one views it but it may be the same person. Basically I have analysed the video and watched it 8 times.I think a lot of people have watched it more than once.

My shirt has arrived, including CL patch. The colour really is lovely, although it is a very dark claret. I seem to recall under Lerner that we went through an exercise of establishing the 'correct' colour pallet, but this is darker than any I can recall. It's fine by me, I prefer it.I got the fan shirt, and it seems good quality, with a bit of texture in the material and not too shiny. But the badge looks very cheap, not the design which is what it is, but the quality. I was expecting it to be embroidered, but it's just it's more like a printed cheap material. There's no detail on the lion. The sizing is good, if anything a touch generous.Overall, my favourite shirt for some time.
Nice one! Mine has shipped, but apparently now Monday delivery.

It’s a lovely thing. Why? Reasons of taste, I'd imagine. There's something seriously dysfunctional about grown men in football shirts.

Rather than opening a separate topic, I'd want to share some views on the video of the kit launch. Now for a couple thingsI enjoy Adidas as a brand and after seeing the Adidas commercials, I find it missed opportunity that the creative and commercial teams did not collaborate with Aston Villa on this and it very much seems like some ideas on a story board from a few at the club. First, I believe Prince William and Tom Hanks could have been involved. Tom Hanks is an actor, and Prince William is world-famous. In addition, the plot is not particularly obvious. An older lady sitting at the bus stop wearing Adidas boots made no sense. I would have preferred a narrative than a collection of different scenes. I appreciate the Club tried something though I don't think it was a Champions League level storyboard. I've had a couple of great ideas myself in how to improve the launch video. There were certain elements that were unclear and the edit I think was only satisfactory. Clearly there are some budget constraints. The rock stars appear to have been the most expense. This had to be Champions League level locations and stars to be increasing global brand awareness. It also needs to give a strong appeal and look to reach all genders, all ethnicity, all ages.If I may I indulge and give example to the unclear narrative Why weren't they all wearing the new Goal Keeper Villa shirts during the Emi Martinez Masterclass lessons? Who were they? Why dont they have maybe some ex pros, like Agbonlahor or McGrath in that scene or one of the aged Rockstars, the older lady from the bus stop or the young girl with the 'can I have new shirt' sceneI think Martinez could have played that part there as the instructor turning round to reveal the kit and then asking them to change into itIf not, Tom Hanks would have been an excellent choice for the instructor masterclass part.I also would have directed Prince William to appear in the dressing room scene in full kit, after a video call with Unai Emery.
The long sleeve is a must. Never really thought about it but have shirt manufacturers phased them out?
Nice one, Stu. I'm sure you look very dapper in it too. The long sleeve is a must. Never really thought about it but have shirt manufacturers phased them out?
