Aston Villa is pleased to reveal a special, one-off kit that will be worn during the first two matches of pre-season.The all-white adidas kit will bear the Foundation’s name across its front and feature the club’s 150th anniversary marque on the rear collar. These kits will not be available for retail but will be auctioned off after the matches against Walsall and FC Spartak Trnava, with all proceeds going directly to the Aston Villa Foundation.Guy Rippon, Head of Foundation & Community, said: “All proceeds will be invested into the Foundation’s disability activities, a vital part of our work, which sees nearly 100 players represent Aston Villa in regional pan-disability leagues.“The proceeds will also support sporting activities run for day care centres, in addition to youth clubs for children and young people with special educational needs.”Following the two pre-season fixtures, shirts will be available for auction below.
Clearly it's just a generic Adidas sports top with our badges added. It won't be great, so no surprise they're not selling them, but I'm also a bit stunned we don't have our new kit available by the time we start actually playing pre-season matches....
That looks nice, I think it would be even nicer with a black and white badge.
