I know we shouldn’t look beyond this game but for us to win the CL we will likely  have to beat PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona.  We couldn’t could we?

Or PSG, Arsenal and Dortmund.

Cheers. Booked via Dublin £129. Flight to Beauvais with return coach trip from airport to Paris €29. Takes about an hour.

We're basically Wales in Euro 2016.

- Qualified for the tournament for the first time in a generation.
- General feeling that we should get out of the groups and that anything else would be a bonus.
- Performed above expectations in the group.
- Earned ourselves a relatively favourable last 16 draw, which we won.
- Quarter final against one of the tournament favourites that we aren't expected to beat, but that we're quietly confident we can cause problems.

Heroic semi final defeat to Real Madrid and Mbappe on the cards then.

I never thought we should go out in the groups and anything else would be a bonus. Which 24 teams did you think would most likely finish above us?

Should get out of the groups (as in finish in the top 24) and anything else is a bonus, as opposed to should go out in the groups and anything else is a bonus.

Thought we'd finish mid table get through one KO round and lose to biggie in last 16.

QF exceeded expectations especially when you consider 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' and Citeh out.

Does that mean that the home tie is likely to be shown live on Amazon Prime rather than on TNT?

Correct as Amazon have the pick of the Tuesday ties so have selected Arse v Madrid first leg and our second leg.

Assuming it stays the same and they get first pick of Tuesday night games, yes, most likely.

Opta computer doing its weirdness.

<snip>

Updated Opta after first leg matches.

After the first leg at Paris, they seem to think Liverpool are easily through AND have actually increased their chances of progressing now we are their more likely opponents.

Opta still doesn't like us. I'm surprised they have Arse as favourites against Real though.

I'm not sure I make Inter favourites against Bayern either, and 20% for Dortmund to put Barcelona out seems too low.
