Second legs at home is great in theory, but being the pessimistic person I am, I'd be concerned we'd lose 4-0 at Anfield/PSG, and have a dead rubber of a second leg at home, massively diluting the experience of a Champions League Quarter Final match at Villa Park.

Great draw for us. If we get to the Semi-Final all our second legs Willa be at the home of football (Villa Park). Can't wait to get revenge on Brugge first up.

Beating Brugges won't be easy. As we've seen, they are the type of team we'll play our aimless walking football against and sleepwalk into a loss. We are more switched on vs the better teams.

Couple of days ago some were saying that Brugges would be like a bye into the next round. We draw them and some of us are suddenly talking them up. Life as a football fan.

If there is one team who I'd most fancy to beat Real Madrid over two legs, it would be Atletico.

Winnable games are what other teams have, not Villa!

I feel for the fans who can go to these games and must have been dreaming of the Bernabau/Nou Camp this year and have ended up with (potentially)

Young Boys
Brugge x2
Leipzig
Monaco
Anfield
Emirates

Brugge have Gent away the weekend before the 1st leg and a local derby at Cercle between the two legs. Hopefully they both stay where they are and Cercle kick them all over the pitch. More likely though, they have a free midweek the weekend before the 1st leg so I reckon the Belgian League will move one of the games to then to help them out.

We couldn't have gone to Nou Camp, it's being redeveloped and so they're playing at the stadium that beat us to host the 1992 Olympics.
