A good draw, that. Particularly when you consider we could've ended up facing Barcelona or Inter or teams like that.

No we couldn't. It was Bruges or Dortmund.

Oh, thanks for the info. I wish someone had explained it in advance.

Looks like we'll face one of the Madrid teams in the semi-final.

If we get through, we have home second legs all the way to the final.

Well, it might be important down the road. At the moment it’s not big at all, because we need to beat Brugge which is no easy task.

Well nice to know though isn't it. A bit more of an incentive.

Clearly given they've beaten us already.

That's as good as we could have hoped for, probably. I know they beat us already, but it was a ridiculous mistake from Mings that did it. We've improved the squad since then too.

It's a kind draw for sure. Not only did we gift them the game previously we also barely turned up and were still the better team.  We'll crush them.

In a one-off match.

Club Brugge last 16
Liverpool or PSG QF
Arsenal, PSV, Atletico or Real Madrid SF if we get through.

Second leg would be at Villa Park in each round.

Brugges, QF - PSG, SF - Real Madrid. That would be a nice route to the final.
