If we end up 9th there's a pretty good chance we play Man City, which would be an utterly terrible draw.
Nan city will beat Brugge by 2/3 goals and finish 21st. If we don’t beat Celtic we will finish 10th and play either Benfica or Brugge. Hope it’s the Portuguese ballerinas. And all of this a fact…F.A.C.T.

I actually wouldn’t mind playing the cheats from Manchester. I think we’d do ‘em over two legs. Would be chuffing marvellous to knock them out.

We'd better get ready to (blue) rinse and repeat our best performances if we want to progress.

Beat Celtic and we will make it over the line.

Of the five other results we'd be watching, we'd feel that about half of them might ordinarily go in our favour.

Factor in the odd CL leftfield result, and we're home and dry.

Key thing is ensuring that we ourselves don't become the CL leftfield result, of course.

Having watched the Celtic highlights they appeared to be quite quick up front and pressed well. As has been said first and foremost we need to do our job, after that, hopefully, the rest will fall into place.

I thought one player looked great but seems he is off to Rennes

Maeda is probably their best player and he's banned

When we got into the Champions League just getting out of the group was the aim. Now we're talking about top eight; whatever happens we've done well.

Without getting ahead of ourselves , if we finish 8th( or 7th) it’s Liverpool or Barca in the last 8

Unless of course they get knocked out. For example they could currently be playing Bayern, Real, Juve or Celtic. (not that I expect those would be in those places after next weeks matches.)

Draws are pretty much set after the R16 until the final, and the winner of the match against 1st or 2nd and the one of the teams who finished 15/18 then plays the the winner of 7/8th and whoever wins the 9/10th,23/24th match.

Multiple numbers for each one so they can try to head off trying to garner the system and aiming to miss a known opponent.

Thanks for this wasnt aware thought it would just be a draw.

If we qualified for next phase i am happy as i thought we would struggle to get past the group stage. If we did get through  then to play barcelona or liverpool. If we went out to either of them then no problem for me as two excellent  sides
