Might as well enjoy it this year as its unlikely we will qualify next season  if we dont strengthen in January.

How about enjoying it because it's, errr, enjoyable?

As i said might  as well enjoy it no matter what happens as done better than expected.  Just a shame its not be replicated in the league

No, just enjoy it, no need for the "it's unlikely we'll qualify next season" part. That adds a completely different tone to what you're saying.

Honestly, what's the point?

You can't post anything without adding a negative slant to it. It's oppressive and unavoidable.

Im just me expressing my opinion that i do not believe we are good enough to get CL this year - hence why whatever happens in CL i will just enjoy it
Even if we dont qualify past the group stage for example.

Erm, asking for a friend.  Do we not want to play the extra two games for the revenue or is going straight into the last 16 worth more money because of prize money?

It's only "extra revenue" if you get through. I'd rather not take the chance. Plus only €1 million prize money for last 24, €11 million for last 16.

Most definitely along with a very light February fixture list.

Do you mean "until one pass from a defender goes slightly astray, leading to a Monaco shot", at which point the whole endeavour will be a disgrace and an embarrassment?

The latter

You must get more prize £££ going straight through via the top 8, than playing and winning 2 more matches and the revenue those will provide(I.e. win bonus x2 and added match day revenue)?

You do. If you read further up the thread its something like €11m for direct to the top 8.
