Demitiri is as entitled to his opinion as anyone else. Forums would be pretty boring if we all posted the same thing.

🫶

We are all on the same side even if we don't always agree.

Come on the villains lets make it another famous  CL night

But all he does post is the same thing.

I see what you did there 😂 good one

Corey,  I am not sure what your issue is. I am just minding my own business so why you feel the need to start a argument you only know.

I am not interested. Keep your thoughts to yourself please. Thanks hun

Aston Villa are just the wrong side of the play-off place line at the moment although seven teams are on 10 points. A win against 0 points Leipzig is a must for us next match to help avoid the playoff and to almost ensure further matches. 25th (PSG) is 6 points behind at the moment.

As for extra place coefficient. England are second behind Portugal* as of tonight. Top three are:

Portugal 7.200
England 6.857
Poland 6.375

The big countries are well behind at the moment with Italy 8th on 5.750, Germany 10th on 5.125 and Spain 12th on 5.000.

* They have done really well being as only 5 teams are earning points, but it also helps that the total is only then divided by 5. But they are still fourth in total points from all teams beating Spain and France.

Portugal and Poland, blimey!

Think we are now almost certain of finishing top 24 but be good to push on and get top 8 or at least ensure the home leg is second in the play off round.

The €0.7m we get for last night draw takes the running total of what we've earned in appearance/prize money to €25.6m.

Yeah i agree we need second leg at villa park. We usually do better when we home 2nd game.

Leizpig  will look at us thinking they can get three points based on recent form but we should be targeting the same

Need to WIN in Leipzig. I think we're starting to show glimpses of returning to form, and with a steady stream of games coming up, I think we could be back at it by the time we face the Germans.

With our squad, and how injury prone our key players seem to be at the moment (*Kamara, Ramsey, Cash, Konsa), we would benefit massively by finishing top 8 and avoiding those 2 extra games. 6 points out of 9 would have us finishing on 16pts, which the Opta computer predicts will be the threshold for finishing top 8.

I'd take Rogers out on Sunday - He's bang out of form, and each passing 90minutes is shattering what little confidence he has left. Give Buendia a run in the hole and push either McGinn (or Ramsey if fit) out wide left. I know people are questioning Buendia's ability, but he hasn't really had a decent run since returning, and he can't be any worse than Morgan at the moment!

Chelsea, Brentford and Southampton should be a nice few games to help him get back up to speed/prove if he has enough to compete.

The Italian announcer on the PA made me laugh - and for the Bologna game. I wonder if we’ll get a Scottish equivalent for the Celtic game?

Leipzig have lost all 5 Champions League games and haven’t won a game in a month either. They need to look within before looking at us. As should we.

A win (preferably a win and a draw) in our two remaining away games should mean a win against Celtic would see us finish in the top 8.

I was a bit confused as to why there were boos when the PA was in Italian?

It’s the sort of silly, harmless xenophobia that makes me chuckle.
