Club have been consistent in start selling tickets 4 weeks before the game so expect Juve will be Monday 28/10.

When Mrs Risso introduces one of her friends to me.

Looks like we need 16 points to guarantee top 8 according to simulations. 9 points tomorrow will be excellent. Not sure what to make of Monaco and Leipzig so far.
15 points gets you top 8 in 73% of cases, apparently. So taking three points each from the Brugge and Celtic games, where I think we'd expect to win, should be enough.

Is there any advantage however to finishing high up in the top 8? Top versus 8th, for example.

I think there's been some suggestion that later rounds will be seeded based on league finish, though I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere.

Think we will finish on 17 points.

Celtic and Bruges 6
Others 2

I believe they used to pair 1st place finishers with other groups 2nd place finishers with the coveted home second leg going to the 1st placed winners.

So I suspect something similar for the top 8 being given home leg advantage against the qualifying round winners. The only question is will they also avoid teams who have played each other once already / same association like last time. I suspect the former will be harder to do.

Sorry, yes. It is guaranteed that the top eight will have home advantage in the second legs, and be seeded to play against the round of twenty-four winners, in the last sixteen. I'm not sure whether there is any seeding in the quarter-finals and semi-finals or if it's just open draw, as it has always been previously.

Also teams finishing 9th-16th will have home advantage in second leg, and be seeded to play teams that finish 17th-24th, in the round of twenty-four.

Would be unbelievable if we remained unbeaten in group stage. Tough ask but would be great

I fear no team now we are back to a full squad. Will be interesting to see the outcome of the Barca v Bayern fixture tonight.

I'm utterly dismissive of all but about 3 teams these days.

Just about to post this!
Incredible to think that we may top the thing after 3 games.
