1 ticket obtained in the Jan Breydel stadium however important question, was or is Jan Breydel a famous Belgian?

I'm sure this point has been made somewhere before, but I've only just remembered the European Super League project and wonder if this format is meant as a concession to the proponents of the former...
It protects or gives a much better chance for big clubs to progress. More games and only two out of eight against equal heavy weights.

Jan Breydel (Dutch pronunciation: [jɑm ˈbrɛidəl]; c. 1264 – between 1328 and 1333)[1] is credited with leading the Bruges Matins (Brugse Metten), a violent uprising against Philip the Fair.[2] He is said to have played a major role in the Franco-Flemish War, even though his authenticity has since been questioned.[3]

For those season ticket holders in the cup scheme has anyone had payment taken for Bologne game?
Just checked my bank account and still no deduction, which seems strange given the email from the club a couple of weeks ago.

My money was taken on 22 September but I haven't had the tickets to download to my wallet yet. If you have an online account you can check to see if the tickets are allocated to you.
I think that this is in the wrong topic.

Anybody any inside info?

After both countries change clocks both back one hour 27/10, Brussels is still an hour ahead of London in October.

Bruges KO is listed as 1745 in both countries but presumably will be 1645 U.K.

will be a lot of people finishing early…

I think the 17.45 would be UK time and it'll be different for CET. All the early kick-offs so far have been 17.45 UK.

I've seen reference to people confused/anxious to finding the scheme unticked on their profile, system as is sounds nothing but a headache...

Not helped by the ticket office being impenetrable by phone these days (took me an hour last Weds, lovely/efficient as ever when you get through); Twitter DM used to be amazing overnight service, stuff would be done the next morning, they've become next to useless forcing more (me, multiple times) onto the phones :/

Their AC Milan away in October is listed 1745, their Villa home in Nov 1745, would be very weird if it's a mistake there.

There is a mistake one side of the channel.

Yup. I'd bet that it's 17.45 here though.

As an example, their site also has their away game at Celtic kicking off at 20.00. So that's not going to be 20.00 their time...

I hope to come see his statue, should by miracles tix get to 4pm and my spin of the wheel is successful.... any updates on any/numbers left ater 3pm appreciated!

As it's collect in person in Brugge there's no seat map just different buttons for GA, GA+ etc.  So it's impossible to know how many have gone.  Good luck to all who are trying.

Young Boys got down to 2 aways on the criteria but slightly less tickets this time so may be a bit of fastest finger first on two aways this time.

So helpful to know thanks, though there would have been less demand for the further travel, perhaps Vs ‘first ever’ Chumps League.

Back in the day it was queuing at Villa park/programme vouchers I remember my Dad doing occasionally. I guess this is the modern version!

And if it takes another 41 years to get back there, it will be a total.missed opportunity. It's really expensive, absolutely, but if you can afford it or move some cash around, fuck it. What else could you be waiting for? Honestly anybody that didn't go to Bayern has missed one of the greatest games in decades.

I fully understand the difficult times some find themselves in or just hard choices many have had to make on what to spend on. And these tickets are expensive. But I’m with you on this Ads. Lots of Villa fans have shelled out $1000s on mostly utter shit the past 2 decades. Certainly been taken on a roller coaster the past 5 or so years back in the PL. We have finally made the CL and I’d have loved to have been at the game last week. The tickets are probably £25-30 too expensive. But in the end that might £120 over 4 games we have earned as fans to go watch. And yes I absolutely get loyalty but let’s face it, CL tickets were never going to be the same price as PL tickets. Is the premium too much? Probably. But when I look back on the journey I’d be finding a way. I appreciate that might not be as easy for others to say yes to.
