Ok obviously this is the champions league thread but maybe there is also scope for a champions league contender thread with a primary focus on premier league and finishing top 4 again.
Is that an idea. Because where can discussion be made on top 4 challenge as this is all about Champions League starting with young boys, then Bayern etc etc
As well as all the ticketing , travel and everything else

I think I speak for everyone when I say go for it. You can never have too many threads, mate.

Excellent I will start a top 4/5 champion league contender upon resumption of the Premier League and Everton match. Thanks.
Basically I see an 8 team competition with maybe Brighton too in mix for 4/5 places.

Don’t forget though Footy, if we win the Champions League, we will qualify for the Champions League. So this is also the Champions League contenders thread too, in a way.

Celtic is the only game that really appeals as it could have something riding on that result

I’d rather eat my own head than attend a match that set of broken-brained weirdos are a part of.

True.

Other potential thread ideas:

2025 UEFA Super Cup Contenders' Thread: if we win the Champions League we qualify for the 2025 UEFA Super Cup to be held on 13th August. Venue TBC but... why not just book all the hotels, just to be on the safe side?

2025 Intercontinental Cup Contenders' Thread. Not be to confused with the old Intercontinental Cup, which was replaced by the World Club Cup, the Intercontinental Cup is a completely new competition which has been brought in to replace the World Club Cup. It's being hosted in TBC, again, so make sure you remember which were the best bars and restaurants from our visit there in the Super Cup.

2029 World Club Cup Contenders' Thread. We're too late to qualify for the 2025 version, but that just gives us more time to save up. Which is just as well, imagine what the ticket prices will be in 2029! It's being hosted in TBC, again, but it'll only be a short teleport journey away by then. Just try not to stare at the dying victims of climate change, they can really spoil your pint.

it will be interesting for the club to see how many season ticket holders buy tickets by Monday evening.

Hopefully for the next 3 champions league games they decide to adjust the prices down!!!

They wont back down, especially with big names like celtic and juve comeing. Maybe they'll do something like if you went to bayern you can get bologna for £35 something like that if it gets too hot for them. I mean Bologna is going to be embarrassing for them at these prices. I wont be going even if they offer a deal!
