I feel really sad about all of this. I haven’t been to VP for 2 years now and was determined to make it for one of these games. It’s a kick in the teeth.

However, we demand that the club competes on the pitch. We expect big name signings on commensurate salaries. Some of us even desire a bigger stadium to support all of that. This pricing is absolutely necessary to afford those things. It’s shit and it hurts and I sometimes hate the modern game. But they simply must generate more cash to breach that ceiling above us. We can’t have it both ways, unfortunately.
Is it fuck.
I think that is an accountancy term you have applied, which I don't understand, but your are right. Some chap on radio said if 4 games are fully sold out  Villa will make £1.6M more than if they had used say cat A pricing, so a drop in the ocean when it comes to PSR.

Simon Jordan explains why he understands Aston Villa's decision to increase prices of tickets for Champions League fixtures.

I used to work at one of the Big 4 (accountancy firms, not football clubs) and I can confirm it is a legit technical term.

Am I reading that right - it's actually worse than yesterday?  Concessions only apply to under 14s, not under 18s.  There is going to be a fucking riot next Saturday.

Bayern tickets go on sale tomorrow. No change in the pricing. Hmm.

There is a change - it's now full price for over 14s, not over 18s!

Also, why do ST holders only have until Monday to claim their own seat when the game isnt until October?

It is anticipated that changes to the stadium advertising boards will have the possibility to affect supporters' views of the pitch in the front two rows of the lower tiers in the North Stand and the Holte End, along with the front row of the Trinity Road Stand. Season ticket holders seated in these areas will need to purchase alternate seats for this game. Season ticket holders who are displaced will have a window to move to purchase tickets in any unoccupied seats before tickets go on sale to members

Seeing how many purchase before changing their pricing structure?

Looks like they are trying to steamroller this through to avoid the unhappy customers.
Make your mind up ffs or we'll sell your seat to someone who is willing to pay £94 for it.
Leaving a nasty taste this.

And dont forget additional £0.50 booking fee, per ticket, for online and phone bookings. No other way to book? Absolute profiteering.
