OS has a link for enrolling ST into the UEFA Champions League Cup Scheme now! Also a 'click here' to sell your seat for individual matches. Not sure whether to use the first link in case it commits me there and then to buy tickets for all 4 games - I know for a fact that I can't go to 2 of them, and don't want to risk not being able to resell the tickets for those 2 games. Anyone followed the link?

It's estimated that 8-9 points will be enough for the play-offs. Celtic play S Bratislava, Leipzig, Brugge and Young Boys at home, and Dortmund, Atalanta, Zagreb and us away. It doesn't need an absolute miracle for them to be coming to VP either already all but through or needing a result.

I think I saw some maths nerd who'd worked it out that 25th place is something like 70% to be 7 points and 8th is a similar percent to be 17.

I think I heard on the Beeb's CL coverage that the expected points needed for 24th and above was 7.6. All points to 8 or 9 points being enough.

If we need 9 points our away games look on paper abit more winnable than the home ones.

Im pretty sure if comes to last game and we both need a  point for play offs both sides will just play out for  a draw

Where are you seeing this? I've scoured the site top to bottom and can't find anything related to it. What are you viewing it on - Web browser on PC or the AVFC app?

Weekend scores:

Young Boys Berne 1 Lausanne 1 - Young Boys are surprisingly bottom of the league with no wins and three points from their opening six games.

Bayern Munich 2 Freiburg 0 - Bayern are second on goal difference after winning their opening two games.

Bologna 1 Empoli 1 - Bologna are in the relegation zone with two points from their opening three games.

Club Brugge 3 Cercle Brugge 0 - derby win leaves Club Brugge one point off the top after six games.

Juventus 0 Roma 0 - first dropped points of the season but they're still second on goal difference after three games.

Bayer Leverkusen 2 RB Leipzig 3 - Leipzig end Leverkusen's 15-month unbeaten domestic run with a fightback win from 2-0 down. They've won both their opening matches and are third.

Monaco 1 Lens 1 - Monaco concede from a 94th minute penalty to drop their first points this season. Fifth.

Celtic 3 "Rangers" 0 - Celtic win comfortably and are top of the league with maximum points from four games.

Just booked flights for the Bayern game. Are there any decent places in the city centre that i'd be able to work from on the wednesday / thursday? Will likely need to take a lot of work calls so can't be too lively.

The Grand Hotel has good WiFi and areas of the hotel that are quiet.
The staff are very helpful.

Bologna in particular, look weaker than last Season. Their manager went to Juve and I think some of their best players were sold.

Have a look at Regus premises.  i know there's one at Great Park, Rubery.  And you could catch a train from Longbridge to Aston.  There's also a Premier Inn in Longbridge.

Calafiori went to Arsenal and Zirkzee went to Man Utd. But Motta going to Juventus is probably their biggest loss. Their captain Lewis Ferguson is also out for most of the Champions League games after getting crocked at the end of last season.
