Kind of proving his clearly lighthearted point.

Not happy with the draw. Wanted some amazing away games and we've got 4 absolutely shit ones. Small shitty grounds in crappy places. Bruges is a nice town but meh.

Really wanted a headline away game. At least one.

Oh well, the home games are good at least.

I liked Bern.. and Monaco sure seems nice.

Soulless places. I wanted a Madrid, Munich, Milan type away game to fly over for. Tiny grounds with zero chance of a ticket in either end. Oh well, have to wait for the knockouts.

haha, okay. I’ll take winnable away matches over ritzy towns any day of the week.

Approximate away allocations based on 5%

Leipzig 2,300
Brugge 1,450
YB 1,600
Monaco 800

I'm sure the people that have to go to every single away game won't mind missing one or two so a few other people have a chance to attend.

Well this is what most of you have dreamed  about since football started in 92. For me please win the FA cup please Villa.
You're not alone in that!

Thanks for that. I was down a few rabbit holes in Wiki looking for info. I should be alright for tickets to 3 of those as long as they take last years credits into account. Time to get the planning head on for Saturday.

A good thing is no away trips to the arse end of nowhere. All pretty easy travel for the team.

Tbh, there's no difficult places for a PL team to travel to within Europe (which is tiny) on their private jet.

well I wouldn't fancy the trip to the Ukraine.

I just based it on 5% of their capacity rather than trying to track down actual allocations given before, but i'm assuming it won't be far off those numbers.

It will be best if first away is Monte Carlo.

I've done a bit of maths and reckon that to get in the playoffs you'll need 8-9 points and top 8 will be 14-15 points. Goal diff and goals scored will also be important due to the number of teams likely to get similar points.

Looking at our games I think we could get 6-7 points both home and away but we are very low on experience at this level. Could be worth a couple of experienced loans to help close games out.

Quite agree. I'm not interested in going to that soulless concrete shithole, which applies to the stadium and the town.

There's a cap of 70 Euros for away tickets, I don't think there's a cap for home but I assume we'll be £60-70 for standard adult tickets.
