Sorry, but is this the way to Barcelona?

Nope, Lazio or Roma this way mate.

I think it's the same way until you get to Lyon, then you diverge.

Then you go left for Roma, and turn right for Lazio.

Just noticed 6 for Italy, but Roma is not confirmed. Do they lose out because Atalanta  won the Europa? Or do they now go into the qualifying round because of there now being 6?

Updated predicted pots:

Could end up with eight games against Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Juventus, AC Milan, Celtic, Galatasaray and Monaco.

(or in less glamorous news, Leipzig, Roma, Club Brugge, Shakhtar, Young Boys, PAOK, Brest and Sturm Graz).

That would be brilliant seeing teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus and Celtic at Villa Park who would have thought that six or seven years ago.

Even a couple of them would be good, the draw will likely throw up a mix of the exciting with the mundane.

A mix of glamour ties with a few less glamorous more winnable ties would do nicely. I don't 100% understand it all but I think this new format probably suits us better than the old format. Watching Newcastle last season didn't fill me with confidence, to be honest. But I think we've a decent chance of being in the qualifying round after the group/league stages.

Yes, based in Glasgow and play in green and white. You'll have seen them at some point.

Think Roma get in if Atalanta finish 5th in Serie A.

Nah, leave it as it is. We're not going to change the song next season, if Bayern Munich don't qualify for the Champions League.

My dream draw would this:

Real Madrid (Home)- Just to hear the Holte in unison shout "CITY REJECT" at Bellingham when he skies a shot early on.

Inter (away)- 90s memories and think the San Siro is finally getting demolished in a few years.

Juventus (home)- Another big game tie and they're not as strong as they were so would be winnable for sure.

Brugge (away)- In with us this season in the Conference league so that's more the level this squad is used to.

Celtic (home)- Atmosphere would be off the scale. And we should beat them.

Feyenoord (away)- Feels written we'll draw them and play at De Kuip.

I'm aware we would get another two but unsure which pots we draw more teams from as can't get an equal number from all three pots.

Anyway that's a decent range of glamour ties and winnable games which what it's all about. We probably need to win three to make the play off round.

^^ There are four pots. We play two from each. They did a dry-run on C&B pod and it went like this:

Home

Real Madrid
Monaco
Leverkusen
Sporting

Away

Galtasaray
Atletico Madrid
Young Boys
PSG

In terms of away draws, I'd like Inter., AC Milan, Sporting, Benfica, Sparta Praha or Bologna.
