Shout out to Glenn Whelan for missing that penalty v Preston.

The loss to Fulham...
Yep I agree. After we lost that game it felt rock bottom. I thought we could easily a Sunderland or Forest and disappear for years. Turned out to be one of the biggest turning points in the history of AVFC. Our Sliding Doors moment if you will. What's happened since that day has been miraculous.

For those unaware as long as we dont finish below 24th we dont immediately go out of the CL. Teams between 9th to 24th will play a  two legged knock out game

Only top 8 qualify. Obviously the formats designed to help the better teams stay in it for longer to kwwp the big boys happy

Maybe when a few kept calling them "bottlers" they were on about the celebratory bottles of champagne!

.thanks dave thats helpful. Its gonna be a fucking nightmare drawing this as im assuming we cant play another british team aos how do you determine which pot 4 team plays how many from  pot 1 2 and 3? If you got 2 from each of the those three that makes 6. Therefore i assume we will play 2 teams in pot 4 too tk make the 8?

If you were sat there watching us struggle at home to Millwall and Barnsley in 2018 wondering why you bothered, this is why you bothered.
