SHA already salivating at the thought of Jude knocking us out. I admire their confidence in us.

PSG would be a interesting  one as we have never played them. Would love to see how we did against them

I've zero interest in playing PSG (nothing to do with thinking they'd beat us). The whole club comes across as unpleasant.

I now have a greater interest in playing PSG.

Just booked my trip to Brugge. These are exciting times to be a Villa fan!

We'll also be the home team in the Final :)

That’s the spirit 👍

I thought that was Anon slightly further up.

Aston Villa fan who is happy with the draw but seeing everyone thinking it’s an easy win is crazy considering Brugge beating Atalanta and us while we couldn’t beat 10 man Ipswich at home
A twat you mean?

The Villa app is showing the games as 8pm Tuesday away and 8pm Tuesday 11th at home.

Couple of days ago some were saying that Brugges would be like a bye into the next round. We draw them and some of us are suddenly talking them up. Life as a football fan.

Anyone calling them a bye was ludicrously complacent. We play to our best we should win, but they’re no mugs as demonstrated when they thumped Atalanta and beat us.

Can't be done. I expect it is more a placeholder for those weeks.

Liverpool drawn first so we have home leg second.

Thats fucking massive

Well, it might be important down the road. At the moment it’s not big at all, because we need to beat Brugge which is no easy task.

I didnt say be easy but its a big incentive for us. Just being positive thats all!

Liverpool in the QF would be a let down in terms of Champions League glamour ties, but it would also be a great draw in the sense that we play them regularly, we know how they work, we really should have beaten them mid week there, and all in all I think there'd be less fear or intimidation there. Also a lot less travel involved.

Obviously we have to get there first.

Good draw for us as long as Mings doesn't take up crown green bowls again.
And we have to stick our chances away

Its annoying the brugges 2nd leg isnt a week after as we have no other league game after brentford for a while. We could have done with the additional  rest

BV is usually our external correspondent. Dunno how good is Flemish is though.

It's rubbish, I rarely get colds.

Can it be any worse than eamonn's English though?

Bad English is back.

Bruge are clearly no pushovers, but player for player we should be quite a distance ahead of them.
