I wonder if they have considered that a lot of teams could have the same points and goal differences at the end of the "league" stage, but haven't played each other so no h2h to sort them. I wonder what the process will be then?

Play-off, winner takes all.

Two legs, Riyadh and Miami. €1,200 per ticket, payable directly to Čeferin's pension fund.

Either that or; rock, paper, scissors.

Man that’s one huge group.
It’s going to nuts keeping up with that table.

An added bonus to qualifying is that our U19s get to play in the UEFA Youth League, where the first six rounds of fixtures will be against the clubs we play in the Champions League. It’ll be a great experience for the kids and an attraction when poaching/signing young players.

That's a good point.

That will be some fantastic experience for them. TNT show some of those games too...

We won the last euro thing we entered at that level, before FIFA realised there was a bit of money to he made & shut it down for their own...

Congratulations to you from this Fulham supporter, hope you remember our contribution to you getting there, beating Man Utd and Spurs so they couldn’t catch you, only joking you’re done brilliantly under Emery, I think you’re do really well in Europe, maybe not win it definitely quarter final at least. Emery has a good record in European  tournaments it also good to see  a new club in the champions league, instead of the same old teams

More importantly, smashing the shit out of Gerrard enough to get the carpet headed fuck-nugget sacked...

I will be forever grateful for that.

Even more importantly, beating us in the play off final.
A real sliding doors moment.

When you consider the playoffs and also Carpethead, Fulham should be every villa fan’s second favourite team.

Great ground too.

When you think about it, the new structure helps us. Not only are there more guaranteed matches, which is clearly lucrative, but also we are playing teams from each pot. In the old days we’d have been in the lowest pot so played teams from pots 1-3 only.
The plan (realistically) has to be to aspire to get in the play off round.

I'm going to get their shit badge (sorry LF) tattooed on me along with ours.

I think the expectation levels will help us to. We were clearly seen as a massive deal in the Conference League and the pressure was obviously getting to us a lot of the time.

Being the plucky underdogs suits us much better.

I agree but I would guess Emery would plan a realistic goal more like us getting a quarterfinal. How exiting and fun this will be, even just 18 months ago this scenario was just in wildest dreamland.

Not sure they need to worry about Champions League for a little while yet.
