A great collection of pics of Villans from Rotterdam '82 on this Twitter thread:

Time, eh? Everybody in those photos full of youthful exuberance and excitement, oblivious to the fact that fast forward 40 odd years to when they'll be in their 60s and 70s, and that was as good as it gets, with nothing but two relegations and a few near misses in all those years.

We need to win something big again.

We did win two League Cups, too.

My prediction is if alot of these "bigger clubs" dont finish in the top 8 automatic spots they will be kicking a stink and asking for the old format back

Just bought Palace tickets. Bologna GA looks to be selling well, be surprised if there's not 40k on.

With everyone having played two games, we've got as many points as AC Milan, Leipzig, Real Madrid and PSG combined.

You'd have taken that when the draw was made.

Some in those photos will be HEITS sadly. About time we bought some silver polish and our younger fans had something to celebrate
One passed away a few years ago and one turned 66 last week and still thinking he's twenty,😉
