The magic number remains at six. If Spurs get it down to three today then get on with your lives. If not, then we probably need to win against one of Liverpool or Palace.

6 what?

The aggregate number of points won by us/dropped by Spurs needed for fourth place.

An alternative viewpoint on the upcoming game would be Spurs getting a point which would leave Liverpool with nothing to play for next week.

Bit like Brighton today.

No wonder we lost. While we shat our pants against Greeks, Brighton were having a laugh team-bonding over a game of human Monopoly on Tottenham Court Road or some shit...

Quote
Brighton captain Lewis Dunk, speaking to Sky Sports: "I've missed this feeling, it's been a long time. We've not been good enough but it's nice to get back to winning ways.

"We've have a different week this week, away from the training ground and doing a lot of team building. And we've got the three points thankfully.

"We were all disappointed after the Bournemouth game. We've done something different this week. We had a day away from the training ground doing different activities and getting that spirit back. It's tough when you're losing, it's not easy. "

Desperate stuff against a team that have been in worse form than us the last few weeks. The fuck was that?

It's called 58 games catching up on us. But if he hadn't taken the Conference seriously he would have got pelters too.
Nobody ever asked him to take the Conference League lightly. Plus Brighton have played over 50 games this season too.

We won’t win another game this season. Dreadful all over the place.

It doesn't look like it but we have pulled good performances out of no where so never say never.

The Liverpool Spurs match is absolutely crucial to us, i reckon they'll lose at Man City but win their other 2 so it really does come down to this one, if your prediction comes true.

The're at home to Man city

Ah. Mind you i still think they'll lose as Man City have a track record of winning all their games during the run in. For a change i'll certinaly be hoping they win that one anyway.

As poor as our game was I thought the 30 second post match analysis Sky gave us was very poor. They couldn't wait to get to Anfield. Come on Liverpool. I feel dirty saying that.
I don’t, just for today. COME ON LIVERPOOL

Couldn't care less tbh. Thursday is more important and we're finishing 4th anyway.

As long as Liverpool win today, that's where I'm at.

Shit performance. Bullshit penalty. My heart sinks when Cash is brought on further forward, especially when we are creating close to nothing. I know we're depleted but I'd rather have put Tim on when Rogers got injured and pushed McGinn out wide. Or just put Duran on and have Diaby out wide, just not Cash as a midfielder.

Oh well, come on Klopp you gurning legend.

They're the sort of tactics I'd expect from Lambert, Gerrard or even Smith.

Not Unai.

All managers, even those as brilliant as him have these weird fucking traits

I definitely know what you mean, it is really frustrating.

I don’t think they’re a team that particularly let being away from home affect their form, to be fair.

So long as we don't get fewer points out of Liverpool and Palace than they do against Man City & Liverpool then we're fine.

Bottom line is that our paper thin squad has done us in recent games.  I guarantee that if Unai had had a full squad to pick from all season, not only would top 4 be in the bag but we would have been looking at a historic double
The good news is that’s it’s only going to get better

This is it, we've had horrendous injury problems this season AND a massively extended season, too, yet we're still currently 4th.

We're mentally fucked and really struggling. It's not good being in this situation, but it is totally understandable.
