I thought on Thursday we played as if we were conserving energy for today. Today we played as if we were conserving energy for Thursday. At some point, we'll have to play to win, not just to fulfil a fixture.

Really poor.  But.  If the Rogers one isn’t, their one most definitely isn’t.  That ref is shocking.

Same moron who stiffed us multiple times with Sheffield at VP.

We’re running out of players as well as legs.
I hope we can put a team out on Thursday. Hope Liverpool can bury spurs this eve before picking up numerous suspensions and injuries in the final moments.

Desperate stuff against a team that have been in worse form than us the last few weeks. The fuck was that?

It's called 58 games catching up on us. But if he hadn't taken the Conference seriously he would have got pelters too.

Thats a bit of a cop.out.

I think it's fair comment - we've been trying to finish top four and win a European trophy, it's bound to put strain on us, and if he'd deprioritised (either of them), he'd have got slaughtered. He wouldn't have done it, anyway, he wants both.

2 shots against a team that has been horrendous recently and doesn't give a toss.

Very very poor.

The magic number remains at six. If Spurs get it down to three today then get on with your lives. If not, then we probably need to win against one of Liverpool or Palace.

I've been positive most of the season, but the display today was a fuckup with our key players being shit and not even caring anymore, and Emery fucking up massively.

I'm still glad we have had the season we have had, and I think most of us would have taken 5th (if the worst does happen) and a semi final in the cup at the start of the season, but this display was always on the cards after the two recent ones, and the manager, for all his tactical brilliance has been blind to it as well.

If luiz's problem is he can't play the kamara roles, then play Tim. He can't be any worse can he? And if he does play there then we should see a better Luiz to help the attack at least. But the persistence in square pegs just takes something away from the whole team.

It’s quite an arresting argument.

We were far too passive but if the foul on Rogers in the first half isn't a penalty the one they got definitely isn't.

Just ran out of players, energy and luck.

The squad is too small for this number of injuries there just aren't any options on the bench for the areas we need - i.e. MF and attack.  Having a double pivot of Luiz and McGinn has never worked over the past 5 years.

In the last 2 Prem games we have lost Rogers, Tielemans and Emi.

I had in my head a draw today and against palace.  We really, really need some players back or Liverpool and Man City need to make sure they do their jobs, would be gutting to end without a Final and bottle it to 5th.

Couldn't care less tbh. Thursday is more important and we're finishing 4th anyway.
