Because he's fucking brilliant at them.  One of the best pen takers I've seen at Villa.

One of the best pen takers I've ever seen at Villa. Also likes scoring against West Brom I seem to remember.

Ben Chrisene gone to Norwich on 4 year deal...
Like to know the fee here.
He was just one of those youngsters signed to sell on I guess.
I think we'll see a lot of that and bigger fees too as we have already witnessed with Kellyman for nearly 20m who has very little prem experience!

Nope, he was signed long long before the sell on thing became a thing…he was hugely rated but has 2/3 nasty injuries that slowed his progress - did ok at Blackburn, hope regular football at Norwich will see him realise that huge potential.

Thought he was best player in that Youth Cup win…Chukwuemeka got most of the plaudits but Chrisene was up there

Good finisher, great penalty taker and works hard off the ball. He's not quite got that extra bit of quality you need to make it as a top half of the premier league player but he could easily get into double figures for you.

Tough one, until about March he looked like a heskey-ish 'handful' who isn't much cop in front of goal, and then he finished the season on fire. I have no idea which of those is the real thing.

I've now realised this is not Villa transfer news because this is someone asking on behalf of Cardiff City.
I initially was excited to learn Villa were linked with El Ghazi!
As Emery would make him even better ! Tbf Dean Smith did that!
I have fond memories of this player who is a wide forward uses both feet and takes a super penalty.
He actually is Premier League Proven quality so would be a promising signing for a Championship club.
When he was at Villa he advanced his game season on season and was actually in the Dutch national squad as he became player of international pedigree or was getting there !

To Cardiff City fan -you'll enjoy him!l he's too good for the Championship!

He played well against us, let's buy him. Worked with Stas, Hadji etc.

Back on track with Aston Villa Transfer talk.
Yes Maetea would be a decent back up striker signing and knows the league. He's currently at the Olympics. If signing anyone from Palace though it has to be Eze. Ł60m would be well spent on him. Sublime player.

I have seen that we are linked with an attacking player from Manchester Citys named Oscar Bobb. He's a young norwegian and has also looked very cable when he played minutes for Man City. Has played champions league so is ready on that respect too.

No chance getting Oscar Bobb. I reckon Pep would rather Alvarez move on before letting Bobb go.
