That €34m is only for 50% of rights though isn't it?

Chiesa, who we were linked to last summer, available for €25m according to Fabrizio Romano. He’s looked like a world beater on the brief occasions I’ve seen him but evidently struggled with injury and form.

Tremendous player, obviously injuries an issue but bloody hell I'd like to see him in a Villa shirt.

100% yes to Chiesa.

Although.. I think he's one of the players who shunned us out of hand last summer. Didn't even listen to the proposal, apparently.

If Chiesa is genuinely available for £25m then something must be wrong.  I haven't really followed his return from that big injury, but he was sensational when Italy won the Euros, and is still only 26, so at that price something feels a bit "off"?

Only one year left on his contract but agree, still seems on the low side.

Based on this, we’ll no doubt sign him up!

That €34m is only for 50% of rights though isn't it?

Is joint ownership allowed?

Chiesa has looked a shadow of his best at the euros, not sure I'd risk it.

RCF is better placed to answer but I think it's allowed there but wouldn't be here.

We were linked with Dean Huijsen yesterday. 19-year old Spanish centre back, rated at 30m Euro's. We might as well just make Juventus part of the V group at this rate.

Monchi can free Simeone from the rebellious Joao Felix

Now it is a Premier League team that wants to take Joao Felix and we are talking specifically about Monchi 's Aston Villa . With the approval of their coach Unai Emery , the Villa team has sent an offer to the Colchoneros club that is currently being reviewed very carefully. However, the figures do not reach what Andrea Berta is aspiring to.

Now it is Aston Villa who are willing to sign Joao Felix, and for that they will put 35 million euros that would be very good for the red and white coffers. The best thing is that the Portuguese striker will not have to return to Cívitas and Simeone will not see him again. But there is another more interesting detail and that is that those 35 million are only to buy 50% of his transfer, just as Benfica intended to do.

I sometimes wonder if Monchi and co go along with this bollocks so it disguises what we’re really up to. I think Felix and his agent used us as a stalking horse last year so we may be happy to play along again to secure our real target.
