Anyway, surely the Douglas swap deal will be announced very soon as it had to be done before the end of the month?

Unless juve have already resolved their PSR issues

Or it’s been done and dusted and will be announced after the international competitions

Just seen that Archie Gray is going to Brentford for £35-40m from Leeds, Jesus wept.

All this fuss this week about valuations, the kid looks like a meat and potatoes, up and down midfielder to me.

I didn't see anything remotely stand out about him at the play off final, but rumours are he has been generating the same sort of interest from the big boys that Bellingham was.

Apparently he’s got a very high ceiling

what the size of his house has got to do with it I’ve got no idea

Newcastle are selling a 19-year-old winger without a single first-team appearance to Brighton for £30m. They paid £7m for him a year ago.  Sent him on loan to Feyenoord immediately, book a £23m profit a year later.

Everyone is playing the game.

But not sure what is in that deal for Brighton?

What are they getting from spending big on an unproven player?

He was unproven at £7m last year.  Now he has a season at Feyenoord and 10 goals to his name, and £30m is the going rate for promising youngsters with a few goals to their names.

Brighton aren't mugs in the transfer market.  They've clearly seen something in him which makes them think he's going to add to their first team in the short term, and have people willing to pay £60m+ in a couple of seasons.

Having watched quite a few Marseille games, Guendouzi is one to definitely avoid.
Recently?
Yep, last season.
You definitely didn’t see him playing for Marseille last season.
Season before then . He was bang average . Serie A games are pretty boring , so I rarely watch , looking at his loan stats I didn't miss much either.
I doubt he's on the radar anyway .

How do you mistake last season for the season before?

So you rate him and you think he's signing for us . Okay.

Nobody has said he is definitely signing for us. Not that I recall.

A couple of us, including me, have stated that he's a decent player & has room to grow.

Especially under the banner of Emery.

It's no wonder you seem to have conflicting views with the majority of people on here.

I think after you claiming to see him be shit last season for Marseille proves that you are a bullshit artist of the highest degree & no longer worthy of my time...

More goals in Serie A than Ligue 1 last year, n'est-ce pas?

I was getting confused - was the Elliot Anderson 35m to Forest thing I was referring to.

You've pretended to watch him a lot as well then?
