Thing is Tim I have a strong suspicion that had we signed Williams and not Diaby there’s a good chance you’d be arguing the opposite position now.

Agree…we’ve put the investment in Diaby…let’s let him flourish now
The scenario is Al-Hilal (basically KSA) come forward with big money offer . Then we should review our options.

Isn't the link with Al-Nassr?

Tim struggles with what day of the week it is.

Ultimately they're all owned by KSA (MBS) so it really doesn't matter which Al-**** get tha chequebook out. Exciting times.

But that’s not really their style is it? Unless they change their MO. Their approach seemed to be chuck the chequebook at the player wages and encourage them to agitate. They didn’t pay astronomical transfer fees.

Don't let facts get in the way of a good fantasy.

Didn't they decide last summer, then Diaby decided he'd rather play for us?

What details do you have that he'd have changed his mind? It didn't matter last summer that they wanted him, why would it matter now?

He's 10 years too young for the SPL, let alone the Saudi PL.  He may not have had the best season but why would we gut the entirety of our very succesful squad?

The Ramsey bid from Spurs was made many weeks ago and was turned down immediately.

He's right, though, the devil is in the detail. It's just all the details fly straight past Tim.
