Onana would be a great option if we could sign him and would provide genuine cover for Kamara.

It is clear we are doing all we can to comply by June 30. Players out and some in. Once July 1st rolls around then be in a position to go after some proper difference making targets.

Reports Tim Ireogbunam is off to Everton for about £10m. Good business if true.
If they are genuinely interested in Tim I hope Obama is part of the conversation and him coming the other way

That is the only way that I would have any positive thing to say about this potential transfer.

Otherwise, I would be fuming that our academy has been turned into nothing more than a Chelsea/ManC style farm...

Which is exactly what NS said he's annoyed about, but that's a reflection on the rules, not on Villa.

Does strike me as a pre cursor to us going in for Onana.

Who is NS?

I’m not sure he’s going to be fat enough for us as Unai builds his team of chubbies

It's reported Arsenal want Onana, so don't hold your breath.

Maybe they want the other Onana, they haven't got enough goalkeepers

I would hold it if it wasn't for Everton needing the deal done before June 30th. I think that alone will rule us out.

Weston McKennie could be ‘replaced by someone else’ in Aston Villa deal

Juventus could abandon the plan to include Weston McKennie in the deal for Douglas Luiz with Aston Villa and have the American ‘replaced by someone else’.

That’s according to journalist Luca Marchetti, relayed by Bianconera News, who reports that McKennie remains the main blockage in the swap deal between the two clubs.

Fingers crossed

Tuttosport claim McKennie wants €2.5m annually after tax. That's a lot of Ranch Sauce.

But not a lot, when it comes to PL salaries.

I fail to believe everything including salary was not agreed weeks ago.
