He's been here five years, maybe he wants a change? He might always have fancied playing in Italy and experiencing that culture, and this might be his chance.

I've had the feeling for a while that this is the case.

It just seems he's the one that suits every party. If he wants out I think that of all the potential leavers he the one most likely to want to go, and the one easiest for us to replace, and also most in demand in the current market.

I fact, we may have already replaced him with Tielemans and the deal for Barkley. Then we'll have room to bring in someone good for another role we need. Gallagher gives us more energy and is also a goal threat, so then we're even stronger and better covered in the midfield spots and still quids in.
