My gaffer - a Glasgow based Celtic fan - reckons there’s talk up there of Matt O’Riley coming down to Villa.
I like him, he makes a big difference at Celtic so please tell your Gaffer to do what he can to encourage Celtic to sell.

He is excellent up in Scotland & at 6'2", he could have the physicality to work well in the Prem...

Even the Rangers fans rate him, and he has an eye for goal with 18 in 37 league games this season.

Watch Scottish premiership a lot and compared to the English premiership it  poor, that's not saying he couldn't be good enough for Aston Villa as proven by the Dublin drink master

Agreed that the quality overall is poor but when it comes to the Old Firm games, that is when the speed & ferocity similar to that of the Prem appears & he has always looked excellent in those games...

But I do recognise & understand your point.

Don’t know him, is he a defensive midfielder? I see that he is English with a very Irish name but plays for Denmark!

18 in 37 from defensive midfield?  That'd be an eye opener!

Kamara's scoring stats are a little shit compared to this fella. ;)

He's more of a Douglas Luiz type player than Kamara.

Can do a bit of defensive stuff, but is more of a link player...

Liverpool who have got Salah, Jota, Gakpo, Diaz and Nunez are going to try to buy another forward for £100m+, and it's going to be our forward and we're going to let them?

Chinny reckon.

The media seem desperate to sell Watkins to someone.  There have been links to Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool in the last couple of weeks.

Just saw something on Twitter about Alisson maybe going to Saudi. It'll be fun (by which I mean not fun at all) if the 'bigger clubs' start making a play for Emi.

Just anonymously send Liverpool a video of their first goal.

If you upset the media loved hierachy this is what will happen.

Will we ever be taken seriously?

We need sustained success and trophies - but even then i doubt it

Rennes: Aston Villa falls for Mathis Lambourde!

After discovering the joys of the high level with Stade Rennais this season, Mathis Lambourde is the subject of strong desire at the end of the season. As such, Aston Villa and several Bundesliga clubs are attracted and are considering attracting the pure product of the Rouge et Noir academy into their nets.

The S*n or the Mirror saying that other teams want our players, does not mean those teams want our players. Neither does it mean our players want to go. If they do want our players and our players want to go AND they pay exactly what we want, they will go.

That’s nothing to do with gossip columns.

We do need sustained success and trophies, but that’s to stop our players wanting to leave. Not because some spanner at the S*n will stop making shit up.

The story in the mirror about Liverpool and Watkins, is literally that, someone making shit up. In the body of the story, there is even a line saying Arne Slot will not be going for Watkins.
