Chelsea have a number of players that would thrive under Emery. And they need to sell. We need to be ambitious yet cautious in our approach. But fuck me the summer is going to be so busy and exciting in how Monchi and Emery shapes this squad.
.who you liking the look of TV?

I think gallagher, chalboha (sp?) Would be in my top two

Not sure really. There will be a few that might be tempting. The issue is that a few of them are on those stupid huge contracts so that will make it trickier. I trust Monchi and Emery on whoever they bring in even if we’ve not heard of them. Our options will be far better now.

Saw a stat last weekend, Villa were ranked 19th in the league for winning 'heading duels' in their own box.

A lot depends on Tyrone's recovery but is an area that needs to be addressed.

After that, Olise, an extra right back and Florence Nightingale.

.... and Florence Nightingale.

Or that Heidi.... brings a supporter back from the dead, then visits Bodymoor and suddenly Tielemans is available.

Would love Olise as the multi-purpose attacker option. We've also been linked with Alex Baena at Villareal who is also perfect for that kind of role. If we spend big, I'd like it to be on this kind of player.

Hermoso in as CB cover assuming Lenglet (and maybe Carlos) departs.

And then a high quality DM that can play in Kamara's role alongside Luiz or Tielemans. Ndidi on a free would be great business.

Personally I'd keep Digne and Moreno for one more year as our two LBs. As some have already said his CL experience is valuable - he's been at a good level this season. If Mings is back and playing well, we might try the Pau at LB/back 3 thing that he was looking at in pre-season.

It would be fun to also have a big name out of nowhere that we'd never have got in if we weren't in the UCL. But I don't think the squad needs any more than 3-4 signings - priority is getting everyone back fit and then a few solid additions that step up our level once again, like Youri and Pau did last summer!

That one could be interesting because he's played a fullback (left and right) a few times this year so he could be a bit of a utility option that gives us depth in 3-4 positions. He looked very good for Valencia but doesn't seem to have been able to get a steady run in the psg team.

He's followed a really similar career trajectory to Sarabia at Wolves. Good in Spain, bit-part at PSG then alright at Wolves.

He wouldn't be replacing anyone in the first team, but if he'd prefer to be a squad player here than in Paris, then he's easily good enough for that as you say.

ManUre to launch an audacious raid on Villa for Ollie according to various outlets this morning. They think he would be attracted by the project and would be a good back up for the ugly fucker they have up front. Delusional pricks or what.

It's all just clickbait. They are the most supported club, and their 'support' want news and stories. So shit gets written, shit gets read, advertisers make more money etc etc.

Even the BBC do it. Articles about them when they are doing shite, as opposed to stories about other stuff. It's so frustrating.
