Interesting stats by carragher, says we are 2nd worst team at aerial duels so he thinks we need a big cb thats good in the air.

I cant argue with him tbh. Mings we know is our guy but lets say he has a breakdown or delay coming back?

Think we need one tbh.

Can ESR play centre back?  Just kidding!!

Abit short 😘

ESR  will end up at Leicester or Leeds or even Wolves.

Palace would be my bet, as they’re likely to be losing a couple of Olise, Eze and Whorton

They only signed Wharton in January.

I know, but, apparently there are a couple of clubs looking, Bayern Munich being one.

Carlos will be moved on, for such a unit he doesn't win that much in the air. Mings was similar in our first season back up but improved thereafter. Konsa needs to improve in this area too

Main problem is likes of Cash, Digne, McGinn, Luiz, Torres,Tielemans ain't going to many headers either, we lack height throughout the team.

I'm not saying we should sign Smith Rowe, though I do like him, but given the tightness of finances and fact we've employed Monchi we should prepare ourselves for signing one or two players that on the face of it may not look particularly attractive.

Iain Dowie?

I agree about carlos i just posted in the carlos thread about how i think we should sell. Looking at how many goals we have been leaking in last four games we can s ee where the problem is.

Im thinking cash in on digne cash and carlos. Send lenglet back. And let chambers and hause go.

Keep kesler get a rb cb and a younger lb to compete with moreno. We need a aerial cb (yes we have mings but we cant play mings and torres) so we will need another cb that is good in the air)

We do have that youngster from arsenal coming back from plymouth so not sure if he will be implemented in the squad but probably will need a left back

Get rid of Hause? - he's a big unit who can actually head the ball ...

... not being entirely serious.

I keep seeing that we're supposedly talking to Iheanacho, who's available on a free.

Keep being linked with Baena too.

The new link I saw this morning was to bring Gabri Veiga back out of Saudi Arabia.

I would offer Mings to Ipswich for 6 months as part of his rehab - be good for both player and club

Have you been drinking, Hookey?!

Let's lend Emery to Man U and Ollie to Blues while we're at it!
