I think we need a first-choice right back, a quality DM and someone on loan to cover for Kamara. Possibly a striker depending on what happens with Duran and assuming that Hermoso is coming in with Digne going out. Don't think we need wingers/10's with Buendia being back fit and hopefully Ramsey sorting out his issues.

If this real then we dodged  a bullet as has no ambition ans only going for money. Players like this at 28 can fuck off as far as im concerned.  Going to a mediocre league just for a payday

I went to have a look and couldn't see anything on his twitter on a quick scan of the last two days. Was it elsewhere? Do you have a link?

but they went on to add.

Hermoso has been linked to Aston Villa, Besiktas and Saudi Arabia, but there are no offers on the table for Spanish defender. The closest to his signature, by virtue of putting the most effort into talks and enquiries are Saudi Arabia, with several sides in the Pro League interested in him. Salary demands will not be an issue there either.

However the reality is that no side are close to a deal as of yet, meaning if Villa are keen to pursue Hermoso, then the field is open to them to pursue him. Atletico Madrid are yet to make contingency plans at the back for his departure, but several additions are expected this summer.
