Mario Hermoso to sign imminently apparently.

A centre back that can also play left back. I would have thought the right side was priority.

Haven’t we already signed a young fella from somewhere who we’ve loaned back out until the end of the season
maybe he’ll step up next season

Bought from Arsenal, loaned to Plymouth, where he hardly plays.

No this fella is plays in Europe

Ah, you’re on about the right-back at Red Star. Assumed from the post you answered you were on about the left-back. My bad.

After returning to Red Star on loan, Nedeljković suffered a knee injury during a warm weather training camp in Cyprus during the league's winter break and spent time on the sidelines. Not been heard of since.

If he isnt playing foe playmouth what chance has he got here?

Seems both loan options were a waste of time. Could havw done with some extra bodies here

Sure, he should be back here keeping Digne and Moreno out of the side instead of not being picked ahead of whoever Plymouth play there.

They’re only kids. If they were good enough to compete in the first team then they would have been kept. They’re out to continue their development.

Well he would obviously be on our bench as we have rarely had twi left backs.

Also you seem to forget plymouth changed their manager and man they were pretty shit after Schumacher left. Doesnt look he is a good manager. Anyways forgetting that emery signed him so he will think he is goid enough to play first team on that basis alone

Ha! He basically signed for Villa and immediately got injured. He's reportedly close to getting back and may get a few minutes before the end of the season plus has an outside chance of getting himself injured at the Euros.

Lino Sousa is only 19. Loaned out to Argyle in January. 8 appearances which given that they've been battling relegation isn't too bad.

Kosta Nedeljkovic is younger still - aged 18. Signed in January from Red Star Belgrade for c.£8m and loaned back. He sustained an injury in warm weather training in Cyprus. Stories coming out of Belgrade that he might play a few games before the season ends. Red Star have 4 games left in the Serbian SuperLiga championship play-offs.

I've not "forgotten" any of this.

I just don't have this peculiar obsession with our current problems being a result of not playing Kellyman or Kesler-Hayden for a few minutes of an important match, or the fact that the 19 year old who can't get a game for Plymouth is not getting a game for us either.

Seems probable Digne will leave still although personally I'd be seeing what interest there is in Moreno first.

We do need more depth at LB if Unai deems none of the kids are ready. I actually think Ben Chrisene has a chance of making it here eventually but would imagine a season long loan in championship is the next step as he did alright at Blackburn in some big games from what I saw.

The plan start of the season was for Pau to play a fair bit at LB and continue with Mings-Kons as the CB duo but obviously the first day of the season obliterated those plans (and selling Digne to Saudi Arabia).

If Luiz is to be sacrificed for PSR, I'd be making a £40m offer for Wharton at CP (on the basis we'd be getting £60m+ for Dougie).

Read a few times that he looks the real deal.  Palace do well from shopping in the Championship.
