Aston Villa have reached an agreement to sign Yeimar Mosquera from Orsomarso SC, subject to international clearance. 19-year-defender is awaiting paperwork and is expected to join Real Union on loan this season.

Young man, there's no need to feel down, I said
Young man, get yourself in the ground, I said
Young man, 'cause you're in a new town
There's no need to be unhappy
Yeimar, there's a place you can go, I said
Yeimar, they pay plenty of dough you can
Play there and I'm sure you will find
Many ways to have a good time.

[Chorus]
It's fun to play as the Y-M-C-H
It's fun to play as the Y-M-C-H
They have everything for young men they employ
You can hang out with all the boys....

Yeimar, are you listening to me? I said
Yeimar, what do you want to be? I said
Yeimar, you can make real your dreams
But you've got to know this one thing
No man does it all by himself, I said
Young man, you'll have pride in yourself
And just go there, to the V-I-L-L-A
I'm sure they can help you to play.

Pretty sure most of the people we've paid big fees for recently (Pau, Diaby etc) it turned out that we'd bought them for much cheaper than all the reports first suggested.

Di Ligt has disappointed at Juve and Bayern and has been shown to be pretty damned slow. Not sure he's that much of an upgrade on Maguire. Ugarte is a very decent player. Zirkzee, time will tell but he looks a player. But for all that, they still have Ten Haag, who's not exactly a dynamic manager.

Yeah for me the manager is the biggest issue there. I think had they gone for poch they would be alot better than they are.

Think de ligt will be good for thenm if he stays fit. They also signed that rb from bayern. Looks a upgrade to wan bassaka

Yeah but man for man, if we get a right of good calibre in, plus a creative forward, I would say we're just as good 1-11. Would you swap either of our centre halves for theirs, probably not, Maatsen I think will be top drawer and Digne is pretty good. Onana and Tielemans would see game time there, Rogers walks in to most teams on current form, Bailey would be in and out for them and Watkins would start every game. We forget how decent an 11 we have.

Like Chelsea, it’s not the team being picked that’s the problem, it’s the 20 players, with huge footballer egos, snipping from the sidelines that will be the root of their downfall.

It’s time they shipped out the 10 hag and went and got Southgate he’s waiting in the wings, he’s all there for the taking
