16 year old CB, Leon Routh signs for Aston Villa.
Was previously at Luton, where he impressed

Welcome to Villa, Leon

I suspect we're going to see 4-5 of these youth gambles every summer. It only needs 1 of them to be a Chuk or Kellyman to make our academy entirely self-sustaining without even looking at the players coming through internally, that's a really strong position to be in and means we can add more facilities and coaching depth there.

Nico Williams keeps popping up. I've no doubt we're interested, who wouldn't be but i think it's highly unlikely. Might just be the most exciting signing i can remember us making if it did happen.

I will be stunned if we can make it happen. Simply because of the competition we face if he's genuinely available, but man, what a statement signing he would be!  Him and Bailey, either side of Watkins would be the best front three in the league.

I think he has a release clause of £50m, so he’s available if you can convince him to sign on the dotted line.

Isn't it his wages that are the stumbling block? Or have I made that up?

So if Adomah was Uncle Albert and Crouch/Ormondroyd were Rodney, who was Del Boy? John Gregory?
