I’ve got a film star looks body, if the film star is John Hurt in The Elephant Man.

You're too humble mate, I set that up for anyone to come and take a kick and you throw yourself on the grenade before anyone has a chance.

Anyway, I was thinking with my hair loss and sharpening features more Nosferatu.

My fault, I didn't express it properly because I'm a poorly educated man trapped in a film-star looks body.

Yeah. Shrek.

Walking yellow card, if Arsenal offered >80m I’d back Monchi and Emery to invest it in 2-3 players. I was devastated when we sold Platt, but Big Ron did well with the money.

Better Luiz than Watkins, Martinez, or Ramsey.

He’s a good player but we need to strengthen in 2-3 other positions and have Tielemans already to replace him.
As much as I like Ramsey, I’d far rather keep Luiz

I think this season has shown just how difficult it was to replace Ramsey in the formation we play.  I would rather we didn't have to sell any player we don't want to, but thi k a central midfielder would be easier to replace than Ramsey in the role he plays.

I’m not a massive fan of the For the Love of Paul McGrath podcast (and perish the day they had on a Rangers podcaster who convinced me the Gerard move was worth a shot!) but I thought the Luton podcast guy was worth listening to and seemed to speak well about the changed role & possibility of Barkley.

One man’s rummage at the football jumble sale is another man’s jewel in the relegated dung heap?

Same here. Listening to somebody who's been watching him every week did it for me too. I thought the Luton fella spoken with a clear understanding of the game and Barkley's role for them. Barkley 1.0 he ain't.

We achieved 4th pretty much without Ramsey.  Rogers and possibly Buendia can fill the role IF we must sell someone.

I know I'd rather have our squad than ManU's. First time in a while I'd say that but we have better balance and a better management team.

There are players I'd have from them, but in reality not many. They have spent so much money, in fees and, more ridiculously, the wages they pay that they just waste so much.

Arsenal have been so fortunate this season with the lack of injuries they have had; that's why they sustained their position.

Man City haven't really had any injuries either.

De Bruyne and Rodri were both out for long spells. Wasn't Haaland out for a spell too? Not as many as us, but some big players out.

They do the same every year, big players are out for good spells but they always seem to be fit and available for the run in…benefit of a huge quality squad I guess

I'd imagine it means you don't have to take risks with small knocks which then become months out.

Carlos Soler will play for Aston Villa

Carlos Soler will play next season for Aston Villa . The Spanish international, who still had a contract with PSG for three more seasons, will change direction towards the Premier League to join the team led by Unai Emery. A move by a footballer who had even been linked to some Spanish teams.

However, as ElDesmarque has learned , Carlos Soler will leave for Aston Villa.
