Pleasing, can't remember a game where we scored four with such cracking finishes.

Not heard much from VillaTim tonight.

Strange he is always about when news is suboptimal. Hope he is ok after Tuesday's result
Good point. He mustn't like the OTT nature of the match threads. Or the spunkioooOOOOOs! (sp?)

Almost an exact repeat of Sunday except we are the victors this time.

Mostly good all round. Our crossing from the left wasn't brilliant and Duran lacked composure with several wasteful finishes. The one he did score was a belter. Rogers should probably have scored too. Hopefully Ollie isn't hurt too badly.

Onwards and upwards.

I reckon Ollie will be just fine. Just a bang on the knee. He'll be good to go in May.

He's probably at the game, and not on his phone. Good etiquette, I'd say.

Happy with that, Diaby looks up for it again, Duran went from being Keinan Davis to Ollie Watkins in about 10 minutes, Bailey looked class as usual and we went about our business in a thoroughly professional manner.

Bailey on TNT: I asked Ollie to stay on til half time, but it (his injury) was bad and he couldn’t 😧

Surely it it were *that* bad, he wouldn't have stayed on to score a goal?

Super result. Really needed that.

Not the best performance overall, but still smashed them.

Lovely to see Duran & Diaby score.

I love hearing Bailey in interviews after the game. He sounds so happy to be at the club. Superb attitude.

I expect he meant too sore. If he banged the bone up, the swelling would have made it more uncomfortable as time went on. If it was anything more serious the physio team would have taken him straight off.

Thats what Bailey said. He also said it was a cut.
