Everyone focussing on the apple crumble element, but completely ignoring the big story that's lurking near the bottom.

Morgan Rogers doesn't really like fish, but he'll eat it because it's healthy.
Sell him.

As a side note, I love that ace is back.

It never went away did it?

It’s not an adjective I use anywhere else ( since circa 1978) but on H&V. I think it might be an unwritten law.

Yes, missed that. “Don’t really like fish?” Someone should tell him there’s more than one type.

Or that there is no such thing as a fish.

Talks are set to drag on between Arsenal and Aston Villa over a deal for England forward Morgan Rogers, 26, with the clubs still some way apart in their valuations of the player. (Football Insider)

Seeing as gooseberries were mentioned above:  there is a gooseberry bush down at Mrs S's home place that must be over a hundred years old.  I reckon that in those hundred years I'm the only one that has tasted any of them, lovely.

Muller used to do a Kiwi and Gooseberry fruit corner. That was beautiful.

Why? I don't believe an innocent fruit can warrant such a description!

Fruit, on the whole, is usually a good thing. I'm not a big fan of raspberries and I don't like the taste of banana, but I eat a banana pretty much every day and I will eat raspberries if they're in something or with other fruit.
