No, no it's all about upsetting Villa. Given he's taken five centre-backs, I wonder whether a 3-5-2 thing is completely out of the question. Konsa / Stones / Guehi, Saka and O'Reilly being very attacking wing-backs, Anderson / Rice / Bellingham in the middle then Rashford and Kane.

I'd ordinarily say that it would be weird to suddenly pivot to that having never tried it before, but probably no less weird than suddenly calling up Toney out of nowhere having previously shown no interest in him.
