I think he might be the best player in the world. I'm only half jesting.

Guessand aside, you might be (half) right.

Three thoughts on Morgan:

1. It was a bit of a striker’s goal, which I thought was tantalising.
2. He did a little dribble up the touchline right at the end, which was exquisite and made him look head and shoulders above the rest.
3. He remains a humble team player: Cash made a long run forward at one point. Who had the presence of mind to fill in at right back? Why, Morgz of course.

I'm convinced he could a world class centre forward to rival Kane, but it seems a waste given what else he can do.

Probably depends how you set up. It wouldn't really work in in our current system of working hard, running channels, holding up play etc.

But in a 90s throwback style, build your team to support and create space for your striker it would probably look quite sexy.

Would definitely solve an international headache too and give England the Kane replacement they're going to need in a couple of years.

As an aside, for a big lad, you never really see him get on the end of many crosses, do you? Compared to average-sized Watkins or tiny Emi.

He has such an extensive skillset that it would seem churlish to point out, as you allude, that he rarely uses his bonce in an attacking sense.

Excellent goal today and was our standout attacking player.

Easy to forget during these tricky few weeks we have arguably the leagues best player in our ranks.

The way he won possession in the second half in our RB position and powered forward was majestic.

Laid if off to Bailey who lost it immediately. Probably the point where Morgan thought "Fuck this, take me to a club where the winger can look after the ball".

He's looking a level above our other players over the last few weeks. We need to qualify for the Champions League or it will be hard to keep him.

Yup, I think he'll be off in the summer. It's going to be very expensive for somebody. I read last month Liverpool were interested for £70m. Bless them. Realistically we've got to be looking north of £120m though I'd rather do a 'Porto' and tell him we want/demand another season from him, then he can leave.

Interesting, I remember towards the end of the season before Grealish went and we were away at Palace getting gubbed. For most of the second half you could tell that he, (Grealish) was thinking much the same as he was head and sholulders above the rest of our team that day, as they played one shit ball after another into him. I said to my Mrs, there is no way he plays for us next season and he didn't.

It's win win for me. If we keep him, then great, as he is absolutely superb. But if he goes you're honestly talking about 120m, which completely opens the market for us. We're on the brink of needing that considering the majority of our key players are either in their 30s or not too far away.

So yeah, I'm starting to sway toward you should just extract top value when the opportunity arises, no matter how important the player (Arsenal 60m Ollie Watkins hello). That's what fucking SCR does to you.

Edit: Just wanted to add I love Rogers and he's one of my favourite ever players as that doesn't come across AT ALL. Just expect him to leave and can see the benefits.

I can remember watching Grealish and thinking that on quite a few occasions
In fairness we are a lot better standard now

I don't see any scenario where he's here in September.

Hope his release clause is at least £125m.
