At the risk of blaspheming, I think there's a chance he could go on to become our greatest ever player.

Better even than Billy Walker?

Better than the greatest defender in the whole wide world? He’s the one they call THE BLACK PEARL!

He pretty much level with Westwood now on the Villa ranking list.

If he pointed a bit more I’d stick him just above NRC. Also needs to work on his huddle.

If I were you Sam I'd watch out for lightning strikes because wherever my old man went when he died he'll have ya!

Miskicked a couple of left foot attempts in the area that usually he'd do much better with. Surprised me a bit.

I think he put on an old pair of Tonev’s boots by mistake on Sunday

Three thoughts on Morgan:

1. It was a bit of a striker’s goal, which I thought was tantalising.
2. He did a little dribble up the touchline right at the end, which was exquisite and made him look head and shoulders above the rest.
3. He remains a humble team player: Cash made a long run forward at one point. Who had the presence of mind to fill in at right back? Why, Morgz of course.

I think he might be the best player in the world. I'm only half jesting.

I didn't see that with 1: I thought it was the normal goal he scores coming from deep and playing passes through.

Yes, that's true, though not as deep as usual. Guess it was the foot race on the shoulder of the last defender to get the shot away that made me think that.

As an aside, it was interesting to see him play as the sole striker. I saw him play there at the Bilbao friendly 18 months or so ago - scored a peach of a goal that was incorrectly disallowed I think for a foul.

But he does lack explosive pace over the first few yards when compared to Ollie.

I'm convinced he could a world class centre forward to rival Kane, but it seems a waste given what else he can do.
